Manage End Users
Prerequisites
End user accounts have been created. For details, see Create End User Accounts.
Assign Cloud Desktops to End User Accounts
After assigning cloud desktops to end user accounts, end users can log in to PigCloud terminals using these accounts and connect to the corresponding cloud desktops.
Prerequisites
- Cloud desktops or shared cloud desktops have been created. For details, see Create Cloud Desktop.
Steps
- Log in to the PigCloud cloud desktop console.
- In the left navigation pane, select User Configuration > Users/Departments.
- On the Users tab of the Users/Departments page, locate the target end user account and click Assign Cloud Desktop in the Actions column.
- On the Assign Cloud Desktop panel, click Assign New Cloud Desktop.
- In the dialog box, select the cloud desktop to add and click OK.
Manage Passwords
If an end user forgets their password, you can modify it on the console.
- In the left navigation pane, select User Management > Users/Departments.
- On the Users tab of the Users/Departments page, locate the target end user account, click Edit in the Actions column, and then Modify Password in the user information.
Add End User Accounts to Departments
You can add end user accounts to departments during creation or afterward. This allows you to view the department structure and manage end user accounts uniformly by department.
Prerequisites
Departments have been created. For details, see Create Department.
Steps
- In the left navigation pane, select User Management > Users/Departments.
- On the Users tab of the Users/Departments page, locate the target end user account and click Edit in the Actions column.
- In the user information, select the target department and click OK.
For end user accounts already in departments, you can adjust their department structure using the above steps.
Delete End User Accounts
You can delete unused end user accounts to free up quotas.
Prerequisites
Ensure the target end user account has no assigned cloud desktops.
Steps
- In the left navigation pane, select User Management > Users/Departments.
- On the Users tab of the Users/Departments page, locate the target end user account and select Delete in the Actions column.
- In the dialog box, click OK.
