View Application Blocking Logs
Background Information
Application blocking logs help enterprises monitor and record end-user attempts to execute non-whitelisted applications. These logs reveal user intentions and support quick addition of blocked applications to the whitelist, facilitating application control management.
Viewing Application Blocking Logs
Log in to the PigCloud Cloud Desktop console.
- In the left navigation bar, select Security Audit > Application Blocking Logs.
- On the Application Blocking Logs page, set query conditions and time range as needed:
- Query conditions: Supports filtering by Cloud Desktop ID and operator account.
- Time range: Displays logs from the past year by default. Custom time ranges can be set.
- View blocking details. Each blocked record shows:
- Blocked application name
- Application MD5 hash
- Launch path
- Blocking time
- Block count
- Operator
- Cloud Desktop ID
- Whitelist status
- Add/Remove from Whitelist:
- Click Add to Whitelist in the Actions column. In the dialog, enter the application name and MD5 hash. After successful addition:
- The whitelist status changes to "Added"
- Enterprise users won't be blocked when running this application
- Note: Whitelist names must be unique. If a name exists, edit it before retrying.
- Click Remove from Whitelist to undo whitelist additions. Status reverts to "Not Added", and executions will be blocked.
