Glossary

AdministratorPersonnel responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining cloud computers. Example: Dylan, an O&M engineer at Company A.
ConsoleThe platform where administrators perform cloud control and operation tasks. Administrators can create and manage office networks (formerly work areas), cloud computers (formerly cloud desktops), cloud computer pools (formerly desktop groups), complete management of users, images, desktop templates, applications, snapshots, policies, etc., and perform daily O&M tasks such as monitoring sessions or cloud computers.
End UserPersonnel who actually use the cloud computer. Example: Li Si, a student at a certain university.
PigCloud TerminalThe physical hardware used by end users to connect to the cloud computer. Examples: Windows computers, Mac computers, mobile phones, iPads, etc.
Cloud ComputerVirtualized cloud-based desktop service, containing basic components such as vCPU, memory, operating system, network, disk, etc.
CPUCPU is the Central Processing Unit. One CPU can contain several physical cores. Using Hyper-Threading (HT) technology, one physical core can be turned into two logical processing cores.
