Cloud Desktop Policy Overview

Cloud desktop policies are important tools for cloud desktop management and control.

What is a Cloud Desktop Policy

A cloud desktop policy is a set of rules used to control and influence behaviors, capabilities, security, and other aspects throughout the entire lifecycle of cloud desktop usage. Administrators only need to create custom cloud desktop policies and bind them to cloud desktops to manage them. When management requirements change, simply updating the cloud desktop policy is sufficient.

Cloud desktop policies include rules in the following areas:

Ensures security during all stages of cloud desktop usage, including login security, display security, transmission security, and network security.

Manages behaviors and experiences related to cloud desktop peripherals, including local disk mapping, USB redirection, peripheral whitelist/blacklist, and peripheral management rules.
